Ok, so yesterday I made a comment about trying to figure out how to survive a whole work week. I probably should have explained that it has been probably 8 or 9 weeks since I have worked a full 5 day week so it has been a while. Also, our work load in the office is quite seasonal and this happens to be one of our slower times of the year. Don't get me wrong there is plenty to do, but it is not as hectic as other times.

Anyway. Hope you all are having a good week.

Not much to say here.....It's only Monday and I'm already wanting the work week to be over. I had to put in a little extra time today and will probably have to put in a little more tomorrow. Of course it will also be a full work week.

hmmmmm...so how do I survive a full week. Good question.

O well, I guess it will all be over soon enough.

that is the question, I guess. Not much going on here. It is mid day and the temp is 9 F with a wind chill of -12 F. If you don't know how cold that is, the word freakin' comes to mind. So I'm just sitting here wasting time. There is football on tv but I'm not even really interested in watching it. So I have been here most of the day.

I did learn something today, I don't know any thing about women. I read scientificseductress's blog and learned that everything I thought I knew was absolutely wrong. I guess that's why I'm single

I guess now that I have all the answers it should be easy for me to find the women of my dreams.

Anyway, I'm going to stay here under my blanket and stay warm, but off I go to perv somemore. Hope you are having a good day.

First, I was playing with my camera earlier this evening and posted a couple of pics. I'd appreciate any input on them, especially if you think they are two light or dark. Also let me know which one you like better. I was going to take them as B&W but forgot. O well, maybe another time.

And for part two.

Happy New Years to all the great people here. It's almost been a year since found this site and have truly enjoyed my time. Thanks to all of you who have been so great. Here's to hoping that 2008 can be as good or better to all of us.

I know I said I wasn't going to blog about the political process anymore, but I couldn't let this one slide. Ok, let me set the scene, I was doing some things around the house today and was in and out for a while. I guess the phone ran while I was away and I didn't realize it. So I went through most of the day and didn't pay any attention to the answering machine. Wellm I just saw that I had a message so I played it. To my surprise it is a female voice (not one I recogonized) but she starts by saying I would like to invite you to a New Years Eve party. I'm thinking, SCORE !!!!!! well, as the message goes on, I realized that it was a recorded message from one of the campaigns (I won't give any names) but it really is going to be a political rally and o yea, it'll cost me $25 to go. Yea, right...That's just cruel and unusual as far as I'm concerned...

O well, only 4 days left (not that I'm counting)

I'm sitting here completely brain dead and utterly exhausted. Spent 8 hours today driving by myself. Most of that was in foggy conditions with visibility less than 1/8th of a mile (or 0.2 km). I never thought that driving could be such a taxing activity but I am completely wiped out. Of course we are supposed to get snow tonight into tomorrow so that will be another joy of shoveling snow. O well, at least I don't have to be at work until monday so I should be able to get some rest before it is back to the grind.

Well, off I go.

Ok, I feel somewhat obligated to provide a clarification to my last blog post. I do not want anyone to think that I hate the democratic process. Quite the contrary. I enjoy watching and participating. However, after about a year of the same rehearsed 5 second sound bite answers to most questions or the canned 30 second answers to the questions asked at what some call debates, there isn't much new information. How many times must I hear the same statement before I understand a persons position. (I think I have heard some more than a 100 times). All I ask is that someone provide a new refreshing idea at this point.

Ok, my last political blog, I'm sure there will be weather to complain about shortly.

Saturday, December 22, 2007, 12:50:35 AM- Only 13 days until Jan, 3 and I can't wait.

Most of you will say Jan. 3? why Jan 3.? Because that is the day the famous Iowa Caucuses are scheduled to occur this year. Unless you have experienced this event first hand, no one can truly understand how maddening it really is. There are the constant tv and radio ads. Not the mention the campaigners stopping door to door to tell you about their candidate. O and lets not forget the constant phone calls from campaigns telling you how great there guy is or how lousy the other guy is and the polls asking you who you are going to vote for. All I got to say is, get this darn thing over with and leave this state so we can have some piece and quiet.

I know that this has been an abnormal year with both parties having a significant sized field which has made it even worse, but I am still counting the days until it is all over with.

I'm hotcntryby and I approve of this message.....

O darn. now I'm starting to sound like them.

Well,

I guess I'm officially on holiday vacation right now. Actually should have stayed at work I guess. Left early because I had several things to get done. I thought they would take about 3 hours. Had them all done in one. I must be a REALLY bad judge of time or things weren't nearly as busy as I thought they would be. There were a lot of people about but no real long waits. O well....

Wait, maybe I shouldn't be writing this, maybe my boss will find out. You won't tell him will you????
