Tuesday, January 10, 2012, 10:54:31 PM- Tuesday... or is it Monday?

When you don't go to work everyday it's possible to forget what day of the week it is! Tuesday.... really? Oh Shit! It's trash day and I nearly forgot that.

I'm still hot and heavy into job searches. Now I'm applying to everything that even remotely fits my skill set. One of these will hit for sure.

Talking about hot and heavy has me thinking about what else isn't happening around her. Let me say that New Years Eve's quickie will have to last me a whole much of weeks! That was a freak occurrence anyway!

The long awaited interview took place at lunch today. I over estimating the possibilities that they'd offer me a job right there and then. it was first meeting & a chance just to get to know each other. I'd give a score of about a B+. We would meet again in the very near future.

So while my expectations of getting that job right there and then weren't met it doesn't mean it won't happen. I should be in a very position mood but when I get that offer... I will be!

So far my long extended weekend hard been rated completely PG. However, Everyday is a weekend these days. Today we went downtown and toured a Leonardo da Vinci exhibition, lunch and afterwards toured the City Museum which was really very cool.

Tomorrow is the big interview. With luck I'll be heading back to work very soon!

Last night was a bad one. Just couldn't turn off the brain. Finally I just got up and went downstairs. mmmmm... I need more to do than watching TV until 2:00 a.m.

So far today it's been all thumbs up. My interview for Monday was confirmed first this morning via email. For me, it would a dream job! Yesterday was mentally tough but things are looking 100% better today.

The sun's out again and should beautiful with spring like temperatures again. Bike ride maybe? I need it. Talking about needing it.. well, you know what I'm talking about. But the wife hasn't been in a decent mood forever. Hell, I' even take a mercy fuck at this point. Any takers?

I've feeling like my self esteem is in the toilet being without a job. Best thing to just rake it up as one of the bad days. Nothing more! or least I'll sink a little lower. So tomorrow is a brand new day. lots of good things are going to happen!

I had a meeting with a head hunter today. It was an interview of sorts which is always good practice. It felt strange wearing a suit. But you know... I do wash up pretty nicely!

Now if we could get rid of this weather. The sun is out and it's still only about 30 degrees with some pretty strong wind blowing!

Sunday, January 1, 2012, 9:36:41 PM- A Brand New Year!

Last night was pretty much uneventful and made the drive home safely. Considering the fact that at 1:00 a.m. most likely 10-25% of the other drivers could be considered drunk I'll take that as a decent start.

We spent the day cleaning and reorganizing the basement. I don't know about you but ours certainly needed help. Wow! Now we so much extra room. So much stuff got thrown out I had to go find a dumpster to pitch it all in.

The clock is ticking and the counting has began. As I'm writing this my friends in the UK still have a few hours to go. We are just going over to a friends house to chill, grill, drink, play cards and and just ease into 2012.

Friday, December 30, 2011, 4:06:38 PM- Friday mid morning

I'm starting to get used to being a house husband. Right now I've a load of laundry going, cleaned the kitchen have the dishwasher running too. In a bit I'm out on a little trip to buy a few grocery's and final make that exchange at REI. It was crazy busy the other day and left to return later... it's later now!

This afternoon I'm down the outside Christmas lights since it'll be 60 degrees today. Thanks Texas for sending the warmth but we could do without the wind that brought it here. This will only last 2 days then it'll be freaking winter again!

Last night I told my wife I wasn't trying anything but only wanted to give her as hug and a kiss. She got really pissed and bolted out the room. She likes her space. Good thing she's out doing her volunteer work until noon.
