Ever wonder why Cathy and I moved away from New York City (Bklyn to be exact)?? Well, I took this photo on Wednesday at Caladesi State Park!!!! At the same time, back in Brooklyn, NY, it was snowing like a bastard!!!! 'Nuff Said!!! Love, Cathy and Bill
This is a picture of Pelicus!! For some strange reason this egret has adopted me. When we go to work at the bar, in the morning, he waits on a roof nearby. As soon as the car pulls in to the lot, he flys down to me and walks right up. If I open the front door, he walks right into the bar. He follows me around like a puppy. This is a wild animal and he (she) has bonded with me!!! I get a blast out of that!! He (she) is also very possesive of me!! If another egret happens to show up, he fights and chases them away!!! He has actually taken food right out of my hand!!! He loves chicken wings but, just the flapper part not the drummie!! These are the type of things that make each day livable!! I get off on nature!! Sometimes I think I like animals more than people...LOL!!! Gaining a wild animals trust is a lot of work, they tend to be fairly wary of us (I wonder why)!! I've always been lucky with animals, for some reason they trust me!!! I think they have some kind of sixth sense!!! Well, by for now, Love,Cathy and Bill
