Now i'm not one for political debate's as such. I have my views, they are mine i couldn't care less of what other people think of mine aslong as they can take them with a pinch of salt.

But recently there has been a planning proposal for a Hooter's in my hometown. Now i've been to them elsewhere and enjoyed the experience, i mean Wings, Beer and Attractive Staff, what's not to love right? But it's caused abit of a debate over here with people saying that it's sexist, degrading and the exploitation of women. Now hold on a second... The women work as they would in a normal restaurant/bar, they choose to work there and they are paid to atleast the minimum wage and i would guess a little more. So how is this exploitation?

Would the same people who say this is sexist then, agree that all things being equal, you are perfectly in your rights to punch a woman in the face as you would a man in a fight?

I don't mean this post to start an argument, i'd just like some educated debate...

"My fave Hooters story was about the time I was in the Atlanta airport riding the long escalator from the tram to baggage claim. Idly scanning the list of carousels for various airlines I first came across "Hooters Air," sadly out of business since 2006. I burst out laughing because I immediately though surely this was the only airline where the flight attendants came with their own flotation devices! I suppose some will make the inevitable "ugly Americans" comment, or some such, but frankly I'd rather be from a country known for "breastarants" than one known for exporting violence and death. Except for that giant one that chased Woody Allen in "Sleeper," has anyone ever been adversely affected by tits? Fear not England, there's been a Hooters in Nottingham for years and Robin and his merry (horny) band are regulars!"
