Miss me? I know it's been awhile huh?
All these years I worried about my knees and instead my hands decided to shit the bed on me! Just my luck huh?
Last week I had Carpal Tunnel Release Surgery done on my left hand, next month it will be my right. The pain had quickly become unbearable and I haven't slept for over 4 hours at a time in months now. The surgery has given me instant relief from the CT on that hand but now I have to wait to heal before I can even use my hand at all :(
It's been a bitch to do anything without my left hand, and I'm right handed! I am not looking forward to having the right done, I will be completely helpless :( Thank goodness for sweatpants and slip on shoes! lol
So I need a sexy nurse! Not just to take care of me but Country has needs too! lol Poor guy has been so neglected lately.
Anyways now you know where I disappeared to, wasn't intentional just real life got in the way of my perving, don't you hate when that happens? I know I do ;)
Goes without saying but don't expect too many blogs or answered PMs from me still for awhile; typing 1 handed takes me forever and is a total pain in the ass!

Sunday, August 19, 2012, 6:27:14 PM- Country returns to work tomorrow
and my daughter officially moved out this weekend so I will be alone in the house tomorrow for the first time in ages!
YAY!!!
Country finally got the ok to return to work and he's ecstatic. He's been so bored at home even with all the projects I made him help me with ;)
We went to is sister's for a BBQ yesterday and got home to find my daughter had moved out! Yayyyyy! She's been saying (threatening?) she was going to for months now so I was starting to believe it would never happen. She's never here anymore anyways, just all her crap was still everywhere.
Now we have another room to play in! Woot! :)
Everyone keeps telling me that I am going to get "the empty nest blues" without the kids here, but with the repainting and then reclaiming of their rooms (after all we don't want them to think they are welcome back LOL) and the sheer joy of having my life be my own again how would I notice? I am too excited! lol Besides with internet and phone it's not like they're really gone.
Tuesday, July 17, 2012, 2:19:26 AM- A Country update and things that piss me off!
Well the skin graft worked...... mostly. He still has 2 small spots that are being stubborn and don't want to heal. So he has to wait a bit to see what happens with those. He starts his physical therapy next week though , and should be feeling back to "normal" soon. Thank GAWD! This has stressed us all out completely!
If this wasn't bad enough, we also got robbed last night! I am so pissed and skeeved out! Someone went through all the cars in our neighborhood last night and I of course forgot to lock the van. So they stole my stereo face plate. No big deal really, at least they didn't get the actual stereo I guess but I have no idea how to get a new face. lol
The part that skeeves me out is I am pretty sure I scared them away unknowingly last night. I couldn't sleep so I got up and started baking and didn't stop until I heard my neighbor leaving for work who was also robbed. So they must have been out there while I was baking, and my van is right outside my kitchen window!
Creepy to think some weirdo may have been watching me, in my home, while I had no idea. Too bad I didn't realize they were out there and bust them though! We didn't lose too much cuz I had just cleaned out all the cars so I know nothing important was in them, but my neighbors got hosed! Cell phones, credit cards, power tools, etc. etc.

Thursday, June 28, 2012, 7:28:50 PM- Well after 7 hours waiting in pre-op
for a 45 minute procedure. We're finally home! Yay!
Country is in a lot of pain in between the heavy duty pain meds he's on, but he's doing better then expected and is getting around really well already. Now we have to wait 10 days to see if it worked :( Ya' all know how patient I am not right? LOL
Worst part is if his body rejects the skin graft, they'll have to do it all over again! Poor guy :(
/me keeping my fingers crossed for the next 10 days.....

I knew his job was dangerous and didn't like it, but I am not one of those over controlling wives who tries to run her hubby's life (well I try not to be anyways)
This past week my nightmare came true :( Country was hurt on the job! He's ok over all, and very, very lucky, but he does have third degree burns on his arm and has to get skin grafts done :(
They're predicting about a month off for recovery. Poor guy :(
Now I need to find me a sexy nurse's outfit so I can "nurse" him back to health ;)
His surgery is Thursday so if you could spare him a thought, it would be greatly appreciated. I tend to worry ya' know ;)
