Hello there anyone who happens upon this blog/confession/site where I will now start posting my poems for anyone who is willing to indulge themselves to read...

Wow...that was a bit of a long intro...

Anyhow.
Here goes the first one...

I wrote it about...say...ten minutes ago.Im a poet you see, but I don’t think I’m any good. (Please, that does not give you the right to steal my work. You may use it anywhere so long as my name appears as the writer...pretty please?)

If you like it...comment. If I see that someone actually took the time to read it, I’ll post some more (Which I would really love to do, but, who likes talking to a wall right?-the sounds of crickets echoing in the silence-)

I’m sorry if I seem weird...I am...long story. Would love to tell it to someone someday.

Here goes the poem.

My heart?

I’m putting it behind a locked door,
in a chest,
in a vault,
behind a firewall.

Closed off from the cruel world,
hidden from prying eyes.
Kept safe and secure,
hidden from corrupting lies.

Behind high walls,
and closed off doors.
I’ll bury it,
away from all these wars.

And I alone shall have the key,
one that should have belonged to you,
and I shall let no-one pass.
