I've never been a prolific blogger myself, but as I only visit chat briefly and occasionally nowadays, I have been reading the blogs daily to keep up with friends and aquaintances that I've made over the last few years. Unfortunately, my favourite bloggers have also been in less and less, and a lot of friends have been removing pics and/or deleting accounts, at the rate of 2-3 per week. In fact, the last several times I've been into chat, a couple of aquaintances who were ALWAYS in around the middle of the (my uk )day were absent, and I NEVER see 2 extremely popular NN members in chat any more. When I think of NN as it was 2 or 3 years ago, I can see why people are leaving, and I can't help thinking that the 'improvements' that NN make periodically don't help, for instance, I recently allowed my prem.to lapse, and although I knew of some restrictions that I would encounter, such as I would only be allowed to see 5 of my friend list, I didn't know that I wouldn't be allowed to add any more friends as I have already added in excess of 5! If this is intended to make me become prem again, it ain't working, quite the opposite, and NN should remember that there is little or no restriction/limit on the number of friends on other social networking sites. OK, moaning winge over, I have lots of other grievances, but I won't bore you further, and if you got this far, thanks for persevering. I guess it was a vain hopr that NN would remain as it was several years ago anyway.

In Britain and other countries,Remembrance day is held on the nearest Sunday to the anniversary of the armistice in WW1 (the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month)In Britain, we wear a poppy as a symbol of our gratitude to our servicemen & women who lost their lives in the defence of our freedom and way of life. If you're not familiar with this practice, and have seen loonie Brits on TV with a big red poppy on their lapel, this is the reason.Needless to say,this gratitude is also extended to our allies, and the remembrance is for ALL fallen heroes, no matter what their nationality or beliefs. The following is but one stanza from a WW1 poem,'For The Fallen' which is read at most remembrance services in most countries.I won't bore you with the whole poem, but you can Google it if you want to read it all
It always brings a tear to my eye

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn:
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them

over recent weeks, and seen the members room populated by people using bullying and intimidating tactics to engineer political and racist arguments, I was stunned at the action of a mod tonight. Rather than warn or remove the person causing trouble, we were warned that the 'next one will be removed'. Earlier, someone else who responded to a rude and agressive statement was also warned,but not the aggressor making the original inflammatory statement. Is it any wonder that long standing members are seen less and less in chat? Over the last 2 weeks, 5 members on my 'friends list' have deleted their accounts, and at this time, I'm not at all sure that I will renew my premium membership. It's very disheartening.

that good people, who are liked and admired by the vast majority of 'thinking' NN members, should have to tolerate a small minority of (relatively new) members/guests making unthinking, unfeeling comments and displaying unpleasant behavioural traits. Moreover, to then find that they not only receive no backing from Support, but are actively chastised by same, is totally unacceptable. It is a personal irritation to see these well liked people, and in fact all of us, subjected to obnoxious and patronising comments by people who frankly should not even be allowed in. I have no intention of sinking to the troglodytes level by naming names, but I hope that the 'liked and admired' members/mods that I initially referred to are cogniscant of the respect that most of us hold them in. Having striven to be articulate and grammatical, may I close by saying bollocks to the fucking nasty,offensive wankers

By the way, a South American scientist, after a lengthy study, has discovered that people with low IQ and who have infrequent sexual activity always read their e-mails with their hand on the mouse.

.....don't bother taking it off now, it's too late!

from me when you're already a friend, it's because I've reverted to my original spelling (Bigg instead of Bygg), so I'me having to re-do you (if you don't mind the figure of speech), Also, I've renewed my premium membership, so I'm no longer limited to 5 friend requests.
