tommygirl's blog post - wow.....time to update

Some of you have noticed that I haven't been on much lately and have taken the time to check in outside of NN - I thank you for that. You all know who you are. For the rest of you I thought it was time for an update.

Life outside of the NN walls (feels like I am on "Big Brother or something) has been busy and hectic but very very good. Yes the rumors are true - I do have an incredible guy in my life that is keeping me on my toes, back, head, knees etc etc....!!! We have taken some "couples" photos with the intent to perhaps post them on NN sometime in the future. Wait till you see what a hottie he is.....I DID GOOD!!

Family is good. My dad had heart surgury in early March and is recouperating well. That was a stressful time for me. My oldest is turning 14 next week so its getting harder and harder for me to pass for 29 these days!! Hockey is over..we won the championship - yeah!! We also went to an awesome tournament South of the border and YIKES - did my Visa take a beating!!!

Cottage season opens in 7 weeks and "darn" it didn't sell over the winter so I guess that means I can still enjoy it this summer. After all....I will be unemployed end of May!! The business I was running has sold and I am taking the steps to start a chapter and a new job. Although I am very tempted to seek slowly and maybe take the summer off first!!
