Odd yet delightfully intriguing. Morbid yet very very sweet. Sarcasm is part of who I am.....deal with it.

I told all of you how Sis M knows that I do not like creepy cats. She sent me this beauty. Cats are my one downfall. What a big weenie she is! Getting me back for the needle to the eye gifs. She has some nerve sending me this. ![]() Well, I cannot let her get away with this. I thought long and hard. I can't get her back with another ugly eye pic or a snake pic. She will be expecting that. Sis M lives all alone in a 2 story, 4 bedroom house. I think that this one will scare the grey hair right out of her undies. *que evil music* ![]() No one gets one over on me. bwaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahhaahahha

| Saturday, September 28, 2013, 6:41:35 PM- It's Lego Saturday! | ||||||
LEGO used to restore ancient Egyptian sarcophagus Fitzwilliam Museum's unique Lego solution is the talk of America GMA News Online: Wednesday, Sept 18, 2013 ![]() It looks like LEGO is about to be ranked up there with the Swiss Army knife, after it helped archaeologists restore a 3,000-year-old mummy case to its former shape. "The mummy case was found in the Ramesseum at Thebes in 1896. The gilded wooden face had been torn out by robbers and the mummy removed" Archaeologists said. Exposure to damp conditions also caused structural problems along with cracking and instability in the painted decoration. Enter LEGO: With help from the University of Cambridge's Department of Engineering final-year student David Knowles, they built a frame to suspend Hor face-down while the reshaping was carried out. Archaeologists used LEGO to conserve the cartonnage, a linen papier mache, by building frames to support the delicate case during conservation and a new display case with internal supports. It worked! The LEGO is made of material that would not interfere with the delicate materials of the sarcophagus. Six light structures made from the plastic brick were placed inside the chest cavity. "They are adjustable using screw threads, and are padded with archival foam where they are in contact with the ancient surface," Patheos said. The result? A sarcophagus restored to its former glory, with an internal LEGO support system, Gizmodo noted. "This is just further proof that there is literally nothing that LEGO can't do," Patheos said. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What is next for LEGO? This is so cool!

| Friday, September 27, 2013, 8:13:34 PM- My wall is almost finished! | ||||||
I am five frames away from completing the white wall. This weekend I will scour the second hand and thrift shops for more frames. I could buy them, but what fun would that be? Finding old frames, sanding them and repainting them is all a part of the creativity and process. My mind races when I think of a project. It isn't a good thing when my mind races....lol. I already have a tendency to go off of the beaten path, so when I think of something to create, it's like a zillion shiny pennies have appeared before me. Don't try to save me from myself. I haven't tapped out yet. ![]()

I am feeling much better. My humour has returned and so has my knack for being ornery. Some may think that is a bad thing, but I think it is a good thing. Now what can I do to rub people the wrong way? lol..... tee hee hee.

| Wednesday, September 25, 2013, 5:37:21 AM- Why can't some parents just love without pressure? | ||||||
For 2 hours I was on the phone with a young woman. This young girl felt the need to kill herself because her parents were disappointed in her behavior towards their needs and her grades in college. As she spoke, I listened for the clues. Those clues are a trigger in the conversation that help me get her mind set on living. Her words were all about her parents. Not one word was mentioned about who she is. That was it, the clue I needed and my in on this phone call. I switched the conversation to what she was all about and asked her what she wanted. I felt the freedom in her voice. A voice that had probably been muffled for years. I told her that life was worth living because it was her dream that needed to be reached, not someone else's dream. I told her that the voice deep inside of her needed to roar and gain strength. She laughed when I suggested she practice with me. Her crying subsided and then she started to talk about what she wanted out of college. I told her that since she knew what she wanted it would be easy to achieve with the right counseling and adviser at the university. She was a bright young woman. She just needed to be reminded that she has a voice and a future with her dreams in it. I told her that there are people out there who can help her prepare for the moment in which she reaches out to her parents. I gave her the appropriate phone numbers and will check in on her tomorrow. As parents go, I can understand that they wanted the best for her. We all want that for our children. I want my sons to smile and grow. Even if it means what they have chosen is digging graves or searching for golf balls out of the lake at the golf course.

I don't normally follow celebrity news or basically the news of the over paid in Hollywood, but this flashed across my screen and made me laugh to the point of pain. *According to an interview with the BBC: Kanye West Calls Himself 'the No. 1 Rock Star on the Planet and says that he is bigger than Michael Jackson' I wonder? Just how much crack does this guy smoke?

| Monday, September 23, 2013, 8:07:16 PM- A forever mommy? | ||||||
Today I made the mistake of sharing the picnic table with another woman. Okay, maybe not a mistake, but it certainly was the funniest gesture of kindness that I have made today. Has anyone ever heard of the term, Forever Mommy? Neither have I. But evidently it exists. At least in the hearts of loony tunes like a young woman named Beth. We did some chit chatting and the subject of kids came up. She asked me if I had any. I told her that I have two sons. She gasped at that amount. I asked her what was wrong with two sons? Beth said that she was going to be a forever mommy. She saw my quizzical look and then explained. It turns out a Forever Mommy is a woman who has babies until the doctor tells her to stop. My response was "Well, until the doctor tells you to stop or your uterus falls out, right?" *me laughing....* She didn't like that joke....lol. Beth went on to say that it was Gods wish that she be a Forever Mommy and that was her purpose in life. She got up and walked away when I said "God is one whacked out dude, isn't he? I giggled, shrugged my shoulders and took a bite of my tuna sammich and thought **Hmmm, I gotta stop this sense of humour before I get slapped**
