Broke 'Brown Sugar' muse sells Mick Jagger's love letters

Wow, American singer Marsha Hunt must be feeling some satisfaction that she tucked away love letters Mick Jagger sent to her during the summer of 1969, because she's gone from being flat broke to loaded with the strike of an auctioneer's gavel. The "beautifully written and lyrical" letters were sent to Hunt, believed to be Mick Jagger's muse for the song "Brown Sugar," and she held on to them for all of these years. Sotheby's auction house sold the 10 letters for $302,000, well above what they were expected to fetch. Is it too much to hope that in this age of email, someone will buy our ex's messages in 30 years for big bucks?

I give her credit for holding out so long.

Earlier while in the store parking lot, an elderly woman stopped smack dab in the middle of the lane to dig through her purse. She stood there blocking me and two cars behind me. I sat there for about 30 or so seconds thinking she would move. I mean she did see me. But no, she kept digging through her purse. Sooooooooo, I lightly tapped on my horn. Which is normal.....no big deal.

Her Response? She gave me the finger and said "Fuck you ya god damn bastard!"




My mouth fell open from shock. I wasn't expecting that! I laughed so hard....it was too funny. Her craggy lil bent finger up in the air and that sneer on her face....lmao. Im lucky that she didn't beat on the hood of my truck with her cane. There is no way you can get mad at such a cute sight.

I don't sleep in one particular position. It's pretty much however I feel comfortable. I was lying there in the dark and thought about those numerous positions and the one I don't sleep in at home. Sideways.

When I travel, I always sleep sideways in a hotel bed. I cannot begin to explain how that began or why.

When you are away from home and in a hotel bed, do you sleep differently?

Continuing the "tired" blog below.

During briefing yesterday I barely had things ready for reporting. I was swamped. The officer in charge said "Your assistant should get on the ball" I thought he was kidding and making fun of me. But it turns out that I am authorized to have an assistant working for me with my caseload. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh you have no idea how happy I am!

I am so happy I would dance naked inside of a church on Easter Sunday and not care if I were arrested and sent to jail during a long weekend when court for arraignments are not in session.

Now that is pretty gosh darn happy!!
