seshat's blog post - Ups and downs

Notable highlights of my long weekend:
- a guided tour of a castle in near darkness: no light in the rooms, only a tiny flashlight wielded by the guide. Well, it was atmospheric not to mention that the guide barely spoke English. Actually, his German was easier to understand than his pseudo-English...
- I managed to fall... not on a tricky forest path or anything, no, I fell walking on a perfectly smooth, albeit fairly steep, asphalt road. Nothing broken, but falling forward on asphalt on a downward slope gives a great big whack, I can assure you I felt so stupid, lol, and BF had a good laugh too.

I took some pictures of course, which I'll be sure to share later on! And now to unpack and relax a bit, so I'll be well prepared for the undoubtedly grueling work day that awaits me tomorrow... Good night!
