For the others: RIP Granddad. He passed yesterday evening. At least he no longer suffers, I still remember his labored breathing last Saturday...
I feel numb, as if I already did my grieving in advance, knowing this day was coming.

dziga	8-Oct-12 2:24:39 I remember the first time I was aware enough to feel the death of a beloved grandparent. Hard. I was so glad that I was able to see them before they passed (grandfather passed about two months after grandmother). Knowing that the suffering had ended was a blessing, but not enough to cover the pain of the loss. Wishing you my best through all of this.
