seshat's blog post - Eek

Thursday, February 18, 2010, 9:45:47 PM
Yes, the past few weeks have really been 'eeks' wink My boss hasn't been doing too well lately, and that makes the mood slightly 'sour' at times. Fortunately I've never been on the receiving end of one of her tantrums (she's more than feisty smile ), but steering clear during an off period is recommended.

I used to be able to live in the most messy and disorganised circumstances imaginable, but I've found that my peace of mind is suffering now. The combination of a messy house (unemptied moving boxes, half decorated rooms,...) and chaos at work (mountain of papers on my desk, and all kinds of different tasks to do simultaneously)... Well, it's making me restless.

It's strange how organising for example a cupboard can soothe my nerves, lol. Our pots and pans are now well organised, as is our tupperware material... And bf had better keep it that way tongue

Nervous energy has to go somewhere... Either it goes into cleaning or into kicking people.

I will be watching for bruises on bf's ankles. :)

Ah, but I never used the word cleaning, I HATE cleaning, lol. Organising is something completely different ;-) (and bruises there may be, but I tend to hit more than I kick, check his chest, lol)

I usually work until I have made such a mess of my bench (cabinetmaker) that I can't move. Then I have to tidy up. I love a tidy up as well. It's satisfying and I admit I love it. Try one room at a time on the diy. Try not to kick the bf to hard. :-)
