and not enough about sex. but i guess we are in serious times.

it truely bothers me about the way people look at crime, punishment and jail time but they never seem to understand the economics. i recently read about a non-violent case of really bad judgement and bad behavior and the individual was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 30 days house arrest. very public trial and people are unhappy that he did not get more time in jail. i am upset that he got any time in jail because 1) i am paying the cost of jail time and 2) the violent person is not in jail because the non violent person is in jail taking up space. and if you suggest build more jail space, the answer is "nimby" and it costs to much.

maybe we should just start to hold people accountable at an early age for their actions and they will become better behaved adults and we will need less jail space.
