A man fell down an elevator shaft today at about 3pm here. His wife was with him- she didn't fall. Broken pelvis- SERIOUS head injury- poor guy. Poor wife- to be there when it happened. I always thought getting a phone call that your loved one was hurt was bad, but being there when it happened must be worse. My prayers to both. ps; What are the 2 car like coil springs that always seem to be at the bottom of the shaft supposed to do? It the elevator falls those springs ain't going to so squat. Any elevator peeps out there? |
