Ok so I did a couple of self pics this morning with my shitty camera. They suck...I posted them anyways but I need to look at getting a new camera..

Yeah, they are a pain, just gotta get used to the camera timer and angles. You might want to grab a mini tripod though, they usually have flexible legs and attach to most cameras, haven't tried them personally yet, but they should work.
