lar's blog post - 40th Birthday

Today is my 40th Birthday. Just another day? seems everyone I've talked to about it in the last week have 2 responses...if they are older than 40, they say "thats not old.. you're still young" and if they are younger than 40, they say " man you're over the hill and gaining speed". Must be all in the perspective... I'm the kinda person who doesn't fear the unkown... usually just the known...lol, like a game of scrabble against Juicy.... I guess its the NAVY Training... wait and see if it's really worth worrying about before you worry, then get to busy solving the problem to worry. Probably the most useful training the NAVY ever gave me, besides Never Again Volunteer Yourself. So in my old age....40! I leave this wisdom to all you under 40ers, worry not what the future holds, and try to hold on to someone for the future. The one thing I think I would regret most, is spending my later years alone.... Love the ones your with... and tell them that often.
