Well, it's my son's birthday today so his father and I bought him an XBox 360. He doesn't ask for very much and actually didn't even ask for this. He's been trying to save the money to buy one himself. We decided his efforts and the fact that he's a good kid should be rewarded and what better day to do that. Needless to say he's thrilled. In addition, his dad got him a gift certificate for Game Stop so he NEEDED to go there tonight and get a game. In the meantime, I get to sit on the phone for a half hour or more trying to change the billing information on his live account. Holy crap. Who knew that getting Microsoft to change a last name would be such a hassle. You would think they would jump at the chance to make sure they get paid. So far I've talked to technical support, been on hold listening to a variety of middle eastern music, disconnected, on hold again, with some department of which I've no clue what they did besides put me on hold again and finally the billing agent. Oh well, at least the account will be paid and I got to hear that slamming music. head spinning 360° kitt xxx |
