kittenmmm's blog post - Almost but not quite...

It's almost the end of the week but not quite. I, fortunately, don't have to work tomorrow. Over here, being very parochial, we shut down the mill on Good Friday. Wolf gets the same benefit so we both have tomorrow off. There's still things to do though. The check engine light came on in my car again so it's off to a Hyundai dealership tomorrow and we have to get hay and shavings not to mention try to get some work done outside. But, it's over for the "work" week.

This week was fraught with good and bad. Good I don't have to cover two outside jobs anymore. Bad I don't see my clients every week. Good I got my first paycheck in a long while, bad they keep taking taxes from me. Good my chickens are laying like madwomen ... bad I broke my glass dildo and well,...can't lay myself. (and Lunna, the bitch, thinks killing eggies are bad...jeez, she has no idea)

At any rate, it's rolling full speed ahead into a weekend. It's Easter Sunday for us christians and that's a big deal so we'll probably be going to both Catholic and Baptist services if we can pull it off. We'll probably see family and we'll probably try to get some much needed work around here done in between everything. And, we're expecting some hatchings this weekend so with any luck we got the incubator set correctly and we'll have chicks (more work to be done there but that's ok..it's worth it to see them).

If I don't manage to get on again before Sunday, Happy Easter to all who celebrate. And, Happy Passover for those who celebrate that.
