kittenmmm's blog post - Tieing up the ends

Well I got confirmation yesterday that my start date is Monday so besides going to my mother's today I've decided to swing by my current place of employ and return my smock and policy book and give them a two week notice.

I considered staying on but my clients are both scheduled during the time that my son is at home and I would prefer not taking the time away from him. If I kept them it would mean I wouldn't be home until about 8 at night. By then, he's well into his games and his friends so I would limit our time to saying...it's 10, get ready for bed. So I'll stick to the full time job only and be home by dinner time.

The roof rocked yesterday. It was hot up there but there was a slight breeze which made it very comfortable. Sorry VB I didn't take pictures I did manage to relax quite a bit though. I also know the house is clean, laundry done and the flower garden raked. Today I just have to drop off my taxes, notify my old job and visit my mom. That leaves a weekend of leisure and then back to the grind. Be honest I'm kind of excited, I enjoyed working.
