We visited the Grand Canyon and the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert National Parks while in Arizona. These pics really show the diversity of the landscape in the area, particularly considering the distance is not that far.

Oh..and because I was asked, the total trip was 7,504.60 miles. The southern route to San Diego was 3,533 of those. The second leg from San Diego to home via Canada was 3,971.60. I'm a madwoman.
