I missed my blog yesterday because I had to have an adjustment done to my vehicle.

Not that anyone noticed my absence. lol

How many of you have ever been to the chain eatery Ruby Tuesdays? If you ever go, try singing the song by the Rolling Stones "Goodbye Ruby Tuesday" as you leave.

This Monday thing is getting tiresome, ya know?

Could be worse... a fellow worker thinks of Monday through Friday as a series of Mondays.

As Mr. T used to say: "I pity the fool!"

It could be worse... it could be a Nor'wester today.

I know a woman. Very sweet. Works in a thrift store I occasionally go to. We've become friends on FB. She was married a few months ago. Not her first rodeo, she has children from her previous trip down that aisle.

She didn't know the guy too long... he swept her off her feet. And now she is paying the price. He rarely wants sex, just someone to cook, clean and work. She's so frustrated that she's even flirted with this old guy a few times. She is a really nice looking gal, with gorgeous, melt your heart blue eyes.

So sad. I do feel for her... I was trapped in a loveless marriage once myself. There are ways to fix the situation though, the best (and least likely to have one wind up in jail) being divorce. Why allow yourself to be continually beat up emotionally?

As Paul Simon said in the old song: There are 50 ways to leave your lover.

Two ways to close this out. Run while the running is good, or don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

Sometimes a simple act of kindness can make a person's day. When it happens to me, my smile is broad and lasting... and I can't contain my enthusiasm to want to say thank you, then pass it along.

RAIN! Nothing can dampen my smile, though. I work today then I have THREE days of freedom.
