When I drop my keys, it's usually in about three feet of snow.

There's a tear in the space between dimensions in my home. I set something down, walk away and come back - it's gone. Do the same thing and it's right where I left it. I guess whoever found the item in another dimension didn't want it and sent it back... or are we playing a strange game of tag?

When approached in a bar by a very young woman, she either wants me to buy her a drink or has made some sort of geezer bet with her friends.

If I want company, all I have to do is sit down to dinner... or sitdown on the commode.

... the way people over-react.

Last night, we had 5 inches of snow. Today, I go to the grocery and people have ravaged the shelves. Over 5 inches of snow.

We last had a blizzard here in 1978. People sure do spook easily.

18 today, with more snow (3-5 inches) due tonight.

Refrigerator is fully stocked with food and beer, liquor cabinet as well.

Oh... and I have the next four days off from work, too.

Mini-vacation!

... when, after a high of 9 the day before, 16 feels like a heat wave.

If I can get my door unstuck on my car, I might make it to work today.

First I hear one of my last living aunt's is in hospital for delusions and now I hear that one of my last two uncle's died before Christmas of a stroke.

I know that none of us gets out of life alive, but please... stop the madness!

Down to 10 degrees F today. So glad I don't go back to work until Wednesday.

I'm gonna cook and watch tv.

Another Christmas gone by. In way of presents, I received half of what was on my list, one that wasn't useful and two surprises that I liked very much. Puts me in the plus column for sure.

Now it's almost time for Christmas dinner, then a movie and a drink.
