Laid-back, easy going guy until my passions are aroused. I've been here 3 other times... I keep trying to get it right, I guess. lol

I saw this today on t.v. and loved it. Combines baseball, football and soccer. All athletes are amateur, with money earned going to the towns of the teams. I'd love to watch a match sometime and were I a younger man, try to play. ~

Another senseless, racially motivated killing of an African American citizen by the police. There needs to be some kind of screening or test to weed out these bigots from our police. ![]()

Two things that bug me about the usage of the English language in America: 1. Like - "It was like really hot outside." Was it actually hot outside, or did it seem as though it was hot? Please be specific! 2. ? Ending every sentence as though it's a question. "That bill was due on Monday?" Was it due, or don't you know??? I can remember people speaking this way in the late 1960's, but they were usually xxxxxxxxxx. Example: "It was like far out man, you know?" And don't get me started on the usage of ending every sentence with 'you know?' ~

I keep hearing about people going stir crazy during these lock downs. I can see it if you're cooped up with children, maybe even if it's just you and your spouse (or significant other). People like me, who have always liked isolation, can shine in these times. We're the loners and you'll recognize us by our smiles and cheerful moods. ![]()

| Friday, May 22, 2020, 6:11:56 PM- Loooooong day | ||
I slept fine for six hours last night, then awoke from a disturbing dream about two kids (12 & 14) killing their family and loving it. I know it was just a dream and it didn't bother me, but I just couldn't get back to sleep. So I got up, worked out, did some laundry, showered and shaved and now I'm having coffee. It already feels like a long day and I still have to go to work tonight. I'm waiting on my second wind to get through the night. And when I get home later, a shot and a beer will do me good. ~

... another dollar. 50 cents after taxes. lol I didn't hit the lottery drawing last night, so, like the old Snow White Disney movie sang: Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to work I go! Yuch, by the way. ![]()
