All I achieved today (besides eating) was doing a load of laundry and taking a long walk.

And I'm o.k. with that.

Not important.

First off, we now have to have our temperature taken before we can enter the doors to work. I can't complain. They walk out to your car, point the thermometer gun at your forehead and if your reading is not high you get a little sticker (color coded for the day of the week) to put on your key card (a picture I.D. card that let's you in/out of locked doors). Cautious? Maybe, but at least you know you're not sick.

Secondly, I saw an article online today (Friday? Saturday? Sorry, I'm digressing) that read how we could lessen the ozone layer input if we switched from beef to beans in our daily diet. I don't know about you, but it seems to me, with my experience of eating beans, that it would lead to an increase of methane gasses.

Sunday I topped off my gas tank.

Today I fixed cornbread and beans.

Too bad I can't put THAT gas in my tank.

Getting ready to go top off my gasoline tank.

The weather has cooled off today to the lower 50s, so I should be safe handling the gas pump wearing gloves.

And yes, when I get home I will still wash my hands and use a bleach germicidal wipe on the door knobs.

Today it was suggested by our fearless leader that we wear masks, bandanas or even tee shirts over our mouth when we go out in public.

I drove across town to a grocery store today and saw several groups of kids/young people out walking along in groups of at least four, with no distance in between them.

Yesterday, at another grocery, a man at the front of the line was wearing a mask and surgical gloves, which is fine.

BUT

He was wearing a tank top, shorts and sandals. I suppose he didn't consider he might brush up against someone who is sick.

No wonder, after some of the things I've seen lately, that this virus is spreading.
