hapyjacq's blog post - ticket

yes.. got to the bottom (well sorta) of the warrant deal.... there is none... his work is just full of assholes..... anyway..

about a year ago paul got a ticket in his work truck.... a $500.00 dollar parking ticket... from some old volunteer dude... he gave it to his work they said they wouldn't pay it... paul said he wasn't paying it either....

forward to last friday...ups calls and says that the police had called them blah blah blah....so monday he gets a copy of the ticket they have pics and everything of the truck.... he's linked to the truck by the time clock.... so we discuss and decide fuck lets just pay it and make it go away....

yesterday i get the cashiers check for 530.00 ... it's now 525.00 (we heard that if you over pay they can't reconcile their books)..... i go to pay today and seems i can't it's been sent to collections...so if i could ever make a long story short.... basically ups received some kind of notice about they ticket last year and the card has been..... i don't know where... some little ticket file they have somewhere....

i'm at this point totally pissed... i've clocked out to go pay ... wasted my time and wasted my GAS... i go back to work and call the collection johnsons..... the fucking thing is now $804.10....... WTF.....but they were nice enough to advise me to come in and pay in person (lots more gas and a bridge toll) seeing how ups has over 21 files of traffic violations with them ....

so tomorrow my day off guess what i'll be doing??? and while i'm typing this i'm actually smiling cause the whole thing is just fucking unreal.....

i ALWAYS have to have a silver lining..... one it was never in pauls name so it didn't affect our credit... and two.... when i pulled into city hall to pay it the ups man was there
