Dont worry about Christmas, your family is the best gift and gifts is more about spending time together.
I grew up loving seeing my family and having a nice Christmas dinner, gifts were few and far between. I just loved being with family I didnt get to see often.
I was adopted when I was 14 and I love the gifts and things I get now but I still love being with all my new family and my granny and lil brother too.
Enjoy the love and don't sweat the head games and lack of job.......you will find what you seek .....

I completely understand. I've been unemployed since March and have just been steady working on my Masters degree until something halfway decent comes around.
Don't give up hope, its got to get better eventually.
