Well it was all a bit of an anti climax (which are the worse sort), thought the Yanks were going to make more of a match on Sunday but it wasn't to be and after two days of being glued to the TV I didn't bother too much at the end. Still had some friends over and cooked a lovely herb and garlic chicken, with a couple of different salads and a choc cake for after. We celebrated a lovely summer as the last of the sun disappeared over the semi detached houses, eventually cross fading into the street lights.Aahh sweet suburbian summer. Goodbye summer it was nice, I'll see you next year.xxxx May a sunbeam stay in all your hearts too.....eeerrr think I better lie down and listen to Amp Fiddler. |
