Wishing everybody a Happy New Year and great Hogmanay. Unfortunately Janet isn't too well just now. I had to take her into hospital last night when one side of her face was all swollen and he left ear looked like a rugby player's cauliflower ear and she was running a high temperature. Turns out she has a raging infection in her ear. She's been supplied with a heavy dose of antibiotics which will hopefully clear this up but it looks like we will be keeping an eye on things through to-day, if there's no improvement we'll need to get back to hospital. Janet being Janet was insistent on going to work to-day but I have put my foot down and cancelled her work schedule. She is a resilient soul and I'm hoping she'll bounce back soon but because she is rarely ill its sad to see her like this...but still manages to keep smiling.
