Chesty McBoob's blog post - Son of Rambow

If you grew up in the UK in the early 1980s and remember the kids' tv programme "Screen Test" and the effects of combining "Space Dust" and coke, I think you might enjoy this film.

I loved it - brought back lots of memories of being a kid in the 80s and has left me feeling more than a bit warm and fuzzy.

The kids in the film were excellent and I am left with one question. Why, in this day and age, a time of easy access to camera equipment and great technology, isn't there a "Screen Test" on tv anymore? It can inspire such fun and creativity amongst kids! Bring it back!

Kids today just don't know what they're missing... not like it was in my day... etc.etc.! wink

Speaking of "warm and fuzzy" best go and shave my legs....! grin

In the US, it was Pop Rocks and soda... and what a mess! But it was fun: liquid sugar and "diabetes in a straw". :)
