.....You take a stupid amount of pictures!! Rome was overwhelming, breathtaking and so old I just can't contemplate it. Had a great time and only saw a portion of it. We concentrated on the Colosseum and surrounding area. Did all the touristy things - threw a coin into the Trevi Fountain etc. We'll go back one day I hope. Outside the Colosseum we were ambushed by men dressed as gladiators, who wanted to kill me (with plastic swords)- apparently to make Mr McB's "problems go away". I just think they wanted us to have a pic taken with them for a few euros.... Anyway here are some Rome pics.
