Alpina's blog post - Pool Fun

The weather this weekend was so wonderful and I was totally overwhelmed when I saw my house and my garden, and the pool, that we enjoyed staying longer - actually I have just come home, and Alpinita fell asleep immediately. Phillip is at work, but I am looking forward to him coming home in the late afternoon (have a guess why).

I am so glad: Helene is looking after my place very well, and all is like it has to be. A woman has moved in, who she lives with and is her lover, and she seems to have a green thumb, as we say: she can make plants grow and be wonderful by just talking to them. And she seems to be a hard worker and like this a lot. Helene beamed proudly when I praised her for her care, and so did her friend, who I immediately liked a lot.

Thursday had begun rather disappointingly, though, because Aldo had phoned he couldn't make it on that day. He said Saturday would be better and after a call to Beatrix I told him we would stay in Vorarlberg unto then and expect him after lunch to coffee and cake. So we were without Aldo on Thursday, but we didn't mind much. Although it was not really sunny, we spent a lot of time outside and often swam in the pool - as usual all in the nude - you might have liked to look over the fence, guys. Helene and Berta, her friend, Beatrix and her teenage daughter and your humble narrator - and our all girls' event was just good, good, good.
