The same happened to us, if it carry’s on we will be moving on to a different site. It’s a shame as we’ve enjoyed our time here, but I fear this may well be the end of this site!!
We certainly won’t be posting any more content, there’s no point. Not everyone can afford premium subscription, but at least we’ve been contributing to the site by posting content for others to look at , premium or not.
So in our mind we have been contributing by giving the premium member’s exactly what they are paying to see.
If they want to go down that route they should limit the people who are always on here but never post even pictures, that would surely make more sense??

Possibly, I would understand that more, and that would still affect me.
I think everyone has their own reasons as to what they can or can’t post etc.
My feeling is these restrictions will be what choked out this site - it’s the volume of people who are here that makes it work.
Cutting back to only those with the freedom/funds to be premium will turn it very stagnant.

Hi, we are experimenting, nothing set in stone, but we have to do something as we are not profitable, and the owners can't fund it indefinitely.

What would you be happy to pay? Constructive ideas are welcome.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the site I would not pay anything. Payments raise questions especially when there is a tonne of free stuff out there.
Understand the owners concern, it’s not a charity. Just sad that that is the way it has to go

Just looking at the billing process maybe in some cases people don’t sign up as it’s not clear what wording would be on the statement, it would probably make a big difference to the single males on here to know there wife’s not going to find out.
From our point of view ( a couple’s) it’s not a problem but I can see how it would hold some people back.
Unfortunately from our point of view it’s more the cost, as the UK is in such a mess all our money goes on bills. that’s why we try and contribute with our photo’s at least were giving premium member’s some photos to look at!
