whats your favorite wine and what type(s) of food do you pair it with???

my wife loves merlot with lamb! and she has many other faves... personally i can take or leave wine would rather have a good sipping bourbon with lamb.

My fav wine is beer. Pairs well with just about anything. But if I have to drink wine, I prefer red. I use white for cooking though. Hmmm, maybe I'll make chicken Marsala tonight, the chicken seems to like wine.

However, Boone's Farm is better with the chicken and fish sammiches, Haps - lighter, ya know. I reserve the Maddog 20/20 for the Angus burgers. Deeeelightful! thumbup

Because prunes are dried plums. Prune has gotten a bad rap over the years, "she has a PRUNE face" You don't hear anybody saying "she has a DRIED PLUM face" Keeping the above statements in mind, what would you rather eat, a prune or a dried plum? Raisins on the other hand don't have a PR problem, no need to reinvent themselves into dried grapes.
