for at least 10 whole long empty meaningless days....heeeheeee


that means, I have no internet connection for that time - the longest time I have went without internet since I discovered the damned thing!!

Dunno what I will do with myself.....(although I have a few ideas...(**grins**)

OOHHHH yeah....and the bitch from hell left today - and yes I did have a bit of my say with her, but I think I was quite restrained with her although I did get the chance to talk to my manager about her and I think it has cleared the air with us so we can kinda start again next week!!

Last night I learned a lesson in life.......

If a friend phones you and asks you to go out on a Friday night when you have something to do on the Saturday..........SAY NO!!

I have been sporting the mother of all hangovers today and am only now starting to feel better - and it's now bed time!

Day 2 was much better and I found everything much easier and things really were starting to come together for me.

BUT...... I REALLY do not like this girl any more today....probably a whole lot less than yesterday. I know some of you have said I may get on with her better when I get to know her, that really aint something I do and I just know for a fact that it aint gonna happen because if/when I take an instant dislike to somebody it tends to be for a good reason that usually shows itself sooner or later!

She doesn't do speaking to anybody - every single noise that comes out of her mouth is a TOP OF THE VOICE SHOUT....I had quite a lot of reading to do today and was trying to get on with it and although I can ignore background chatter she had to be the one jumping around playing drums with a coin on a metal counter and singing at the top of her voice.....and yeah she knew I was trying to concentrate! grrrrrrrrr.....!!!

Anyway I dont think tomorrow will be very good since its only me and her working together and she did try a couple of digs today that I didn't let go without comment, but I can carry my "I don't give a fuck attitude" in my back pocket with me for the day.....heeheeeeeee

Well day one at work has been and gone. I am not sure what I think of it, I don't think I like it but I know I have to give it a chance.

One of the girls I work with is okay but the other one I took an instant dislike to and I really don't do that very often - so when I do it tends to stick. But like I said I spose I have to give it a go.

I have loads to learn, lots of home-reading to get on with and only really made one mistake so far today.......so fingers crossed!!

Now all I have to do is get the kids whipped back into shape for helping out around the house.....heeheeee

What a shitty morning (and I mean that literally)!! One of the kids took the dog out this morning and as usual took him up to the canal. She had been back about 5 minutes when there was a knock at the door. It was a couple of council guys who told me that apparantly she hadn't picked up his business after him and they knew where she lived so before I even got out of bed this morning I was fined £50!!

They said that obviously they aren't allowed to follow kids around and they weren't following her, so how the hell did they manage to tell me exactly the route she had walked the dog and get back to the house just behind her?

Anyway, apart from that I'm just on my way out the door - going shopping with my mum. She is gonna buy me my birthday present early since she will be on holiday for my birthday and I have to buy some new clothes for work.

I just have to add to the other well wishes for one of the friendliest, nicest, welcoming, and just plain greatest members of NN

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUJU!!! We all luv ya sis!!!

As it turned out, the office has a little kitchen in the back so thats where my interview took place.

It was a very friendly and informal chat and at the end of it I was offered the job right there and then.

Lol.....so YAYYYYY.....I'm now working again, I start on Tuesday doing 20 hours a week for 8 weeks (training) then I can more or less pick any amount of hours and work really any hours I want.

All I need to do now is go shopping for some blouses n trousers since its been a while since I worked in a job with a dress-code!

I think this weekend could be the total opposite of last weekend!! Celebrations coming up....lol

I have an interview tomorrow afternoon - it will be a first for me though....lol....I've never been interviewed in a car before!

It seems that there isn't a spare room for my interview to take place so when I spoke to the woman who is going to interview me she asked if I minded if we just went to her car to do it.

What could I say really? It will be different at the very least though, and probably a bit more relaxed so I suppose I should just wait and see.

I am waiting to hear back about another job too and that is the one that I really want more than this one tomorrow. Although, the way things go with me that means I will probably get this job tomorrow and not the one I want.

Never mind!!

Well the kids came back and seemed to have had a good time, so fingers crossed now he has a place of his own this may become a more regular event for them!!

What did I do all weekend without any kids around?

Not a bloody thing!!

I stayed in all weekend (well except for maybe half an hour on Sunday afternoon) and I did absolutely NOTHING!

I think I actually missed the pair of them, I just couldn't motivate myself to do a thing.

I did pop into chat for a little while and it was good to catch up a bit but to be honest I just wasn't really in the mood so I didn't stay very long.

Anyway, I'm feeling a bit more with it today, so all that housework that didn't get done is now calling on me..........(what a life hu??? I wouldn't change it for the world though!!)

FFS!! My kids dad (AKA. LOSER OF THE CENTURY) actually deemed the kids worthy of a phone call last night! Okay it was well after their bed-time and they were both in bed, but lets give him his dues - the thought was there for maybe the first time in god knows how long.

Anyway, he told me to get them to phone him today. So my youngest just got in from school and phoned him.

After having to remind him that he said they were to phone him, he has actually invited them....(instead of them contacting him after months and inviting themselves) to stay with him tonight.

I'm glad I was already sitting down.......
