tip
Israeli scientists claim they have found a complete cure for cancer and are saying it may be ready for use on humans in a year or so. The breakthrough treatment is being called Mu Ta To. HOPEFUL!!!!
the world has had the cure for years now.. lets hope we get to see some results from these scientists

My guess is that these scientists, if true that they can cure cancer, will all die of a mysterious illness or fatal "self inflicted" shotgun blasts to the back of the skull. Maybe car crash or two?

You betcha!!! Cancer is a money making empire.. why would they want to stop the money from rolling it

Yup, it's kinda like that guy that invented a gas engine that got over 100 mpg. He mysteriously vanished before it was brought to market.

Powers that be might want people to die and not allow new medicine.

population control!

Don’t be this stupid, it’s very hard to treat cancer, because it’s a genetic mutation, not a disease, it’s caused by unexpected changes in one’s DNA, there are millions of different forms of cancer

Some relatives had it, even my mom, and it’s not easily “cured”

These are all just fake news you read on facebook
(5 years ago)
Ummmm......it's not fake news. It is being reported by several credible media sources. I think maybe professional cancer scientists may have a bit more of an advantage than some random person on here.
Fox, CNN, CBS, Newsmax, Forbes and many others reported this. No mention of Facebook in any of their reports.
And there are not millions of types of cancer. There are a little over 100 forms of it and if it was easily treated/cured, it would have been wiped out by now. If big pharma is actually trying to
(5 years ago)
keep a lid on the cure, they are doing a great job but they can't keep it hush hush forever.
I wonder if The N.H.S will be able to afford it...sad

It was an especially brash move considering the company has not conducted a single trial in humans or published an ounce of data from its completed studies of petri dish cells and rodents in cages.
I should have put quotation marks around that.
All of the stories I have read about it give me the impression that they are extremely confident in their breakthrough. Although, I agree that some published data would be helpful.

It's spread like wild fire as many things do on social media.

yeah but when you have large cable news networks reporting on it, it becomes a little more than a social media hyped story.

It a very bad thing to do. to build hope and expections and then let everyone down.
Like you said above, there are so many kinds of cancer and the likelihood of a one for all cure is unlikely.

Well, how do you know we are going to be "let down"? Many diseases have been wiped out through years of attempts and fail until one day......success!!!! All the negativity bums me out. sad

Let all be " HOPEFALL"...smile

Even if they could cure one form of cancer, it would be a tremendous step towards curing all cancers. They all spread in basically the same way. Finding the common thread is probably key

Don't get me wrong, I'd love there to be a cure for cancer, but sometimes these headlines/reports are published far too early giving false hope.

I don't think any outside oncology experts were part of the private research study so it stands to reason that they wouldn't have any credible info as to what was discovered.
Unless submitted to other experts for their consideration & opinion, that research would remain a unilateral opinion.
How case studies have they used for that research, which cases? 75% is also 3 out 4.
How many cases *
Meh, if they cured cancer in a lab animal, it is not opinion and an outside oncology expert being out of the loop may not fully understand what process was used to get there.

Back in 2012 "Misleading reporting of the “wonder jab that will kill 90% of cancers” Also developed by Israeli researchers.
"Every day cancer researchers in labs and hospitals around the world are making huge strides against this terrible disease, and their progress and successes deserve to be reported to the public."
"But misrepresenting and over-selling their early baby-steps isn’t helpful to anyone, most of all cancer patients and their families."
How do we know it is a "baby step" Maybe they have been curing cancer in lab animals for several years. They did not make any claim as to being able to cure cancer in humans. Saying it could be a year
(5 years ago)
or more before human testing can be developed.

I've lost both my parent, a girlfriend, relatives and friends to the horrible disease so I'd love to see it eradicated.

Antibiotics is something that needs to be looked at more seriously. I keep hearing and reading about how in other parts of the world they are using phages as an alternative to antibiotics with success

Funny you should mention antibiotics because that was a big part of one article I read about this Israeli report.

I've seen a few documentaries on antibiotic resistance. We are spending billions developing new ones, when there is an alternative that has been proven to work.
