Some words have completely different meanings depending on where on earth you are. I guess I'm supposed to be educated on every language on the planet so I know the meaning of every word, anywhere.
Well, I called them paddles and you try to correct me saying that they are Oars and that education does wonders here. Turns out, just as I already knew, that both are acceptable as to what they are.
Yeah well, I don't take kindly to people trying to make me out to be some sort of moron for using a different word to describe something. She doesn't like me and I get that. No need to be rude though.
Nope. Not trying to be Joe King. She attempted to make me look foolish, so I defended myself. And I was correct!!! Paddles/Oars are the exact same thing.
I don’t dislike anyone he she I’m ok with either lol. You can certainly paddle a boat or a donkey even paddle my arse. But I’m more in oar with rowing your boat.
Ok.....I will continue to paddle my boat with my paddles. Wonder what they call them big wheel things on the back of those riverboats in New Orleans? Oar boats? LOL
