Sounds like a good time I take it not all the canary islands are the same. Those with volcanic soil, once nothing & purely developed for tourism purposes produce better white than red wines.
Lanzarote & Furteventura red wines were awful IMO. A bit like Beaujolais nouveaux. My days l, why Japanese buy so much of it is beyond my understanding.
