Has anyone ever sent home movies into amateur porn sites? i've seen a few that offer cash for footage, and I was just wondering if it's worth it? A few offer a LOT of cash, so obviously they would be the best ones. any thoughts?

Back before the internet, I sold erotic stories to magazines that published them.

I only made a few hundred dollars.
However, the extra income pushed me into a higher tax bracket.
Therefore, the extra taxes were more than I was making by selling the stories.

Back in our 20's hubby and I sent a tape into an amateur home movie company called Odyssey Group. We had bought several of their videos because we both enjoyed amateur porn more than commercial stuff. Anyone could send in a tape and they would review it. If they could get at least 30 minutes of footage off it that they wanted, they would pay for the rights to it and you had to sign a release then they would send a check. They ended up buying our tape for something like $500 or so. It was not a lot of money, but we did it more for the thrill than the money.

I have no idea if they ever used any or all the footage. We never heard from them again and never saw any of it pop up in their catalog. I am sure they are probably long out of business, but that was the extent of my career as a porn star.
