Bring up a cam window .. Right click in the cam area,
Choose ''settings '' ... choose the "Microphone Icon'' .. select drop down menu, select microphone.

No it's when I plug in my Logitech cam to shoot a video to post on here, the Controls show that my Mike is turned off so all videos are without any sound and I'm unable to switch in back on !

Lettuce try this plan of attack, then.

>Right click you speaker Icon, in your task bar.
>Select ''Recording Devices''

Is your cam microphone listed there?

If it is? is it ''Disabled''?

> If it is disabled
> click on it
>then click on 'properties'

then > 'enable' it from the box at bottom of resulting window that opens

You may also change your ''default'' microphone? If you wish?

>If it keeps going Titts up? try ''disabling'' all other microphones But leaving your preferred one 'enabled'?

My cam works fine if I use it online either to cam here in the Chat-room or skype, then the mic. works OK, it is when I plug it in to shoot a video and use the Logitech controls which appear onscreen and I have the choice of taking photos or a video. When I switch the controls to video the mic. is always showing the sound is turned OFF and I'm unable to click on it to turn it on again !
