Monday, February 12, 2018, 10:20:47 PM- Fifty shades of grey
The missus bought a paperback
Down Eason's the other day,
I had a look inside her bag;
T'was "fifty shades of grey"

Well I left her to it,
And at ten I went to bed.
An hour later she appeared;

The sight filled me with dread........

In her left she held a rope;
And in her right a whip!
She threw them down upon the floor,
And then began to strip.

Well fifty years or so ago;
I might have had a peek;
But Mabel hasn't weathered well;
She's eighty four next week!!

Watching Mabel bump and grind;
Could not have been much grimmer.
And things then went from bad to worse;
She toppled of her zimmer!

She struggled back upon her feet;
A couple minutes later;
She put her teeth back in and said
That I must dominate her!!

Now if you knew our Mabel,
You'd see just why I spluttered,
I'd spent two months in traction
For the last complaint I'd uttered.

She stood there nude and naked
Bent forward just a bit
I went to hold her, sensual like
And stood upon her tit!

Mabel screamed, her teeth shot out;
My god what had I done!?
She moaned and groaned then shouted out;
"Step on the other one!!"

Well readers, I can tell no more;
About what occurred that day.
Suffice to say my jet black hair,
Turned fifty shades of grey.

Monday, September 4, 2017, 10:34:23 PM- You HONEST opinion please........
.......... and not the P.C. opinion.

I came across an article recently about Joy, the fashion retailer and a card they were selling. The card read, 'Don't get mad, take lithium.'
If you have the time please follow the link, read the article and give your HONEST opinion.
Thank you smile

"My thought is simple... I can make fun of my family. Don't you dare make the assumption that you can too.
I can make fun of my illnesses it may be a coping mechanism but don't you dare.
Yes, they crossed the line in just that way and are extremely childish in their defense of it.
I would not support their cause."

Monday, October 31, 2016, 11:26:37 PM- Halloween
In this run up to Halloween a few things have started to bug me and I thought I would set a few misconceptions straight.

Just because Halloween isn't a big deal down in England doesn't mean that it isn't a big thing north of the border. In fact Halloween in Scotland has been observed for over 400 years and is still very big today. Our children dress up and go guising, where they perform a party trick, tell a joke or sing a song and receive a treat for their performance.

The Scots and Irish took the celebration of Halloween and the guising over to America. In time guising became 'trick or treat' which does have its merits, especially after having just heard over 60 kids tell their jokes, of which there were only 4 that were original all evening lol.

Happy Samhain wishes to you all

Blessed be.

Sunday, October 16, 2016, 10:00:03 PM- Are you ok
The other night in status when talking about mental health and so on I said I'd try and post this print.
Sometimes we can all take it a face value when someone says they're ok but maybe we need to take some time to make sure.

Monday, September 26, 2016, 8:49:49 PM- Comic con.
Just had a great weekend away at comic con with Mr M and our kids. Mr M wasn't looking forward to it but when he spotted the scantily clad women with tight spandex clothing he was more than willing to stay. In fact he didn't want to leave, muttering something about 'cleavage' and 'camel toes'.

Something that became clear very quickly and was a breath of fresh air, is that it doesn't matter what age, gender, disability or body type you are, at comic con you can be who you want to be and it's accepted, no questions asked or judgments made.

Saw a great T-shirt there that we thought might appeal to some,it certainly did to us (pic below), and we're sure we bumped into one of the mods from here, freelancing. See other pic below smile

Monday, September 19, 2016, 9:13:51 PM- hacked
If anyone is on FB don't open links from friends of pics/vids, subject 'are you in this video?' unless you check with them first. My eldest did thinking it was from a friend, only it wasn't and now it's sending the same link to all her friends.

"Over 50% of the customers I see are due to malware on their computers caused by them clicking on unsafe links or unexpected email attachments. Links from friends in FB can be something like "click here to see pictures of my 21st birthday party." Links in a random email might be "see where you were caught on camera speeding." You also have to be careful of the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of spam emails as you could unknowingly be passing on your contact details to countless others by clicking on it. I've had customers who have been unable to log in to Windows and others who lost money from their bank accounts after clicking a link or opening an attachment. Doing so may download a malware program called a key-logger to your computer. From then on the hacker will have access to passwords you type in. I always advise people that if you receive an attachment or a link that you are not 100% sure of, ring the person up and ask them if they sent it. You would also me amazed at the number of people that do not install any Internet security, believing that their ISP will protect them."

Sunday, September 18, 2016, 1:03:21 PM- humbling
there has been a lot of talk about the Paralympics and how amazing and humbling it is to watch the athletes. I came across this story today, which is truly humbling and thought that TC might appreciate it. Providing I get the link right lol.
