I had a piece of furniture I wanted to sell. Listed it on Craigslist and sold it in 3 hours. They pick it up tomorrow.

Everything I've EVER LISTED on Craigslist has sold. Maybe I'm just not asking for enough money.

Monday, September 10, 2012, 7:32:28 PM- Getting back in the routine

As soon as we got back from our trip we took off over the past weekend. My son and I went to the big football game against Georgia last Saturday which was televised football on ESPN. We hung tight until the end of the 3rd quarter when the wheels came off the bus!

This was the third weekend in a row I hadn't been at home. Next weekend.. just chilling! Haven't had any loving since my birthday. That's a chill of a different flavor.

Tuesday, September 4, 2012, 12:57:00 PM- Home from Seattle and the NW

I've done it. I've now been in all 50 states! On this trip I fly to Seattle then drove down to Portland. While in the area we drove north via several ferrys and visited Vancouver BC. I'm torn between whether I like Seattle or Vancouver the best.

When I got off the plane back home the heat and humidity really hit me. I miss feeling the cool mornings and evenings of the NW. But it also feels good to be back home.

Thursday, August 23, 2012, 4:04:30 PM- Trying to catch up!

It's been weeks since I've written anything so lets see if I can power blog a little.

First of all, still not working but I've taken new steps to get myself out there. Went a saw some people in KC about about creating a new division on our side of the state. It was fun and healthy just getting out of town for a while.

Speaking of traveling, this Saturday we leave on a week long trip to the Seattle area. We'll go to Portland and Vancouver BC also. International! Its nice to have a son that is using his points to get us the free flights for my birthday! I must have taught him well. Take care of your dad. Don't ask me how old I'm going to be. It sucks!

My daughter is moving into her new apartment. Can you believe it, I'm painting yet again!

My morning meetings were at 1:30 and decided to just run home for lunch. I also needed to print off some papers for a meeting in a short while. My car was so hot from being locked up in the sun that I sweated bullets on the short drive home. What I need now is a shower! Anyone want to join me?

Monday, July 23, 2012, 11:03:09 PM- I need something!

My son stayed at the house last night so I could drop him off at the airport at 6:30 this morning. That was cool and it was fun hanging out with him last night. Grilling burgers etc...

Then the rest of the day started. Mondays suck anyway. The temperature was 105 today. Yikes! I'm getting used to that. My love life is in the toilet too. Things fell apart in that department. Having the house all to myself is fun but that's run its course. About a hour ago I found out I've got baby sitting duty on Saturday night. So next weekend is already messed up.

I need to get some happy vibes working for me. Got any suggestions? Oh sure... I need to get laid! It's just not in the cards.

My wife left for Michigan Friday to visit her family and chill on the lake for a while. Today she calls and says she can't find my son's iPad. She left it on the front seat with the doors unlocked. What!!! Now we have to replace it. How can she be so stupid. That's like screaming steal my iPad!

I've been watching a live press conference by the Governor about that terrible shooting in Aurora, Colorado. When politicians speak we usually roll our eyes. This time I felt the raw emotions as the speakers tried to find words to describe these events.

I stopped making my dinner and stood in front of the TV and I just wanted to cry for these lost souls. There was no one in the house to talk to so I write down my feelings. By writing this down it helped me put everything in perspective.

The shooter was angry at society. He wore tactical gear and had enough equipment to do even more harm. They captured the man outside the movie complex. The man had even wired his apartment with exposure devices.

He threw tear gas Then started shooting people in the first rows and worked his way toward the back. 70 hurt. 12 dead. More of the critical injured will die in the hospital. I couldn't think of anything worse in the world.

He dyed hid hair red like the Joker from the movie.

I'm sure you will read plenty in the news. My heart goes out to the families of the victims. This could have happened anywhere in the world. Thanks for letting me write this down.

Senseless! I just cried and it doesn't help.
