Hello peeps xox Just a few words to let you know whats been going on in my life Over the past month both od Rocky's parents have been in hospital yet again ...... Father-in-law went in and was released the same day - we are not sure what that was all about ..... Mother-in-law was kept in hospital for 2 weeks, Rocky went and brought her home on Thanksgiving day - I was just about to serve our dinner when we got the phone call so our dinner was put on hold and we had a later than what we anticipated dinner which consisted of Turkey, Roast potatoes, Green Bean & Red pepper & Shallot casserole type thingy with flaked almonds sprinkled over the top, Stuffing and gravy Pumpkin pie and squirty cream for dessert later on On my side of things I have had someone in approx 3 times a week to get me to workout and it has been hard but, I and the trainer have noticed a difference in my balance stuff etc.... we have been working on my balance etc - I have been doing push ups, crunches, balancing, doing stuff with an exercise ball, weight training and breathing. We are doing this to me to improve my balance so I stop from falling over before I really hurt myself...... Good Idea huh? - and also to stop me from using my cane and walker ... Today apart from the stuff mentioned I have done at least 75 crunches and I am making an improvement on my stature ..... More at a later date from me about this. Elle x | ||||

Didn't do too well Sunday .......... I was fine and then I started to do some stuff like make the bed, tidy the kitchen, etc etc...... I went to put something away in the spare room and I just walked into the room, just got inside the doorway and then bloody hell I fell/tripped over and ended up in a heap at the side of my elliptical and my head banged against the wall on the opposite side ...... talk about BANG, CRASH, WOLLOP.............. I scared the cat he legged it, I scared Rocky and I scared myself, Took me some time to manage to get up, I had to crawl out to the washer and hoist meself up. I ached, I cried and I Hurt ......... Rocky helped me into the living room and I sat down in my chair - think I fell asleep for a while. Took a few painkillers and went to bed about 10.30pm. Today when I woke up at 5 am I ached and I had a little look at the side of my leg/thigh and I got a real nasty bruise and it is moosive Just waiting now for more bruises to come out. Couldn't move me right arm too well as it felt bruised but at least I didn't break anything. So yep I'm sore, battered and bruised. I hosted a g/f's birthday bash Monday at 11.30am, so I am gonna take it easy for the day (kind of). Elle x | ||||

YUM - I just had a bowlful of homemade soup - 1/2 cabbage and a whole cauliflower in it with some chopped onion and some bits of bell pepper (red, yellow and green) a pinch of red pepper flakes for some hotness and some chicken stock and 1/2 can condensed chicken soup salt & pepper Now for my yo crunch yoplait yoghurt with m&m's included | ||||
