Hmm, I had never heard of her, so I Googled her. Apparently the airport police are saying that her passport shows her as a male, with her pre-transition photo in it!
I'm sure that if I was carrying a passport with a female's photo in it & stating that I was a female, I would find it difficult to get through immigration in most countries.
I only know what I've googled here, but there seems to be two sides to the story - she states she was discriminated against & they say she wasn't carrying a valid passport as a female.
I want to know how if your gender doesn't match your docs, you even got on a plane in the US. I've had admins book flights under my short name & I have issues. Let alone gender
