I am thinking about building a "crowd funding" tool for all future features. Would you pre-pay a small amount to allow us to fund the new features you want?

I would anticipate we'd sell $5 stakes in it and a typical feature would be in the region of $5,000

d33lusionz - Groups is the best thing that will ever happen to this site - but it is unfunded and this isd what has given me the idea to float this concept of funding new features

NN, why don't you pick one of the easier top suggestions to implement, set up crowding funding for that feature, promote the hell out of it and see what happens?

. However, I'll put in the extra effort and check it out.
So you'd have a list of all the top features members had voted on for site improvement - and we could choose to donate to the most important features to us. I like it. I think it's a smart set up.

I think why it could work in this new world is its transparent - people can see where their money is going to... And they can witness how much more is needed for those items most important to them.
