I have no opinion on the premium part, but all members should have to be verified, would certainly eliminate the fakes-maybe not everyones opinion- but its how I feel

Your free members are your potential paying customers so you can't alienate them entirely.

If it went solely paid then I suspect I'd end up leaving. I'm premium now and may be again but there might be times I can't or don't want to pay for premium. I only pay for notifications really.

If NN was premium only - you'd be shutting out a lot of potential pic/vid posters. Offering premium for a month to newly verified posters would encourage more to verify.

Honestly, premium is nice, but I do not use the features enough to want to pay that much. I just miss notifications.

Personally I think you need to make the benefits of premium more obvious to the mobile users. Notification, pic manager etc

Agree with L/B, not everyone can justify going premium if your only posting a few pics and chatting on status. Tho i must admit i would miss it.

Would be too hard to get new members if they had to pay immediately to join, to make up for those lost. I still like the justcuz plan best, as a business model.

The number of members would fall off sharply, the amount of new members would decrease and you would get less new content. With fewer new members and less new content fewer people would use the site,
