The most interesting tech issue I've solved over the years... we had a system in a remote site that would crash every night around 2am for about 15 minutes. Nobody could figure it out. After a couple

weeks we finally went on site to check it out. Turns out the cleaning woman would unplug our system so she could plug her vacuum cleaner in.

I gave on people taking my advice in grad school. Had a punchcard Fortran program that needed to be modified. I knew how to do it. But no one listened to me until it was totally mucked up.
