I'm getting pretty pissed off at the amount of web pictures that get posted on these pages. Just for the record NN, I let my premium membership expire because I refuse to pay to see the same shit that's all over the rest of the web!

The reposting of web porn is covered in the posting rules Bill, its a little thing called copyrite infringement. Unfortunately I think NN like this crp being posted as it boosts the number of photos posted and therefore their bragging rights. You can never stop these numb nutted fools (suspect many of them are teen boys) from posting this crap but NN could reduce the number of "illegal" photos posted by making 2 very simple changes to the site.

1. When reporting a photograph for breaking content restrictions there should be a "why" field, often (if stolen from another member or taken from a website) the reason it should not be on here is not immediately evedent.

2. If I make a new profile today I can not make any pic comments for 3 days (and I agree with this), however I can post 5 porn site pics, have a pull then delete the profile before anything can be done about it. NN is flooded by these "one day wonders" (often posting the same 5 pics a day under several different names), one way to help curb this would be for NN to apply the "3 day rule" to posting pics as well. Most of these kids would not make a profile and then wait 3 days to post their garbage.

How about it NN?

Yes, repost buster, i agree, and know that copyright infringement regarding the reposting of web porn is covered in the posting rules.

However, no matter how obvious that the pic is taken straight of the web, mods only have the right to delete webpics that contains an email address, URL or URL's in the pic, title or comments by the poster.

If the poster crops the pic to remove any watermark etc that shows the pic has been taken from another site then a mod has no right to remove it.

Read the rules mate, it's all there...

Actually it would make too much sense to have a section that you could say why you reported a photo. You don't really want anything that makes sense. If it makes sense, it'll cause confusion!

Well the 15 pix have magically reappeared now, all with the blue button turned grey. Couple of days ago I reported the guy to support, one thing that I hate doing because I feel like a stupid mean snitch.

Ok thanks, it's their site. All I can do from now on is ignoring the alert button or taking the time to report anything to NN support.

Have to agree fully with you Red. My lady has a profile on here and posts often but is getting a little jaded about the idea. You post 5 GENUINE amateur pics only to have them swept off the front page by a member (premium of course) posting an entire porn sites content. I have no issue with premium members being able to post that number of pics except when it is obviously not their content. Sadly in the past year I have seen many genuine people (mainly couples) leave the site due to the web porn issue.

I had enough ages ago and will now let my prem run out in 2 days time(wish I hadn't renewed it last time)
I rarely visit anyway as there are far better sites which ensure only real amateurs post.
NN has such lax 'rules' that you can post webshit to your hearts content,post Facebook pics etc etc and pretend you're other people.

Possible solution??

Limit number of pics posted to five for all members unless they are "verified". Verified posters get the 15 or whatever the limit is now. It seems to me the verification process, while it sometimes takes a bit, is fairly simple.

If a poster, premium or not, is found to be posting "web crap" then they loose their verified status.

I know there is currently no good way of telling the mods why you pushed the "alert" button, but one way might be to say something in comments as to why you pushed the alert button. Then the Mod can know why they were alerted, by reading the comments.

I know it's not perfect, but it might be better than what we have now.

Somebody with some clout around here should pay attention that plums left and to why he left. He was a respected paying member here who at one time led a crusade against the web pic shit. Now he is gone. Members who have to keep paying there hard earned bucks in this bad economy to keep looking at web pics and getting their pics stolen and posted on other sites are having their fill of this crap and are looking for other places to go. There is no way I would renew either.

I have been here less than one year but starting to get better at spotting the webcrap. Some here can spot it a mile away.
One telltale sign is the signup date. If it is the same day as the post then be wary.
