| Sunday, August 09, 2009, 12:00:21 AM- Meeting another NN'er | So...last Wed., I met my 5th NN'er. Not the one I mentioned in the previous blog, but one that I've talked to occasionally for 2 yrs. (And yes, Dan knows.)
Anyway, he had a meeting south of me but was flying in and out of one of the airports near me. His meeting was over an hr. earlier than expected, but I picked him up soon after.
He was taller and cuter than his pics. And thankfully, I had stopped posting pics on NN when he started reading my blog. I think he's never posted pics here.
I took him to the beach and we hung out at a couple beach cafes and had beers and lunch. I thought he'd enjoy watching all the girls walk by in bikinis. He hardly noticed because we were so engrossed in our deep conversations.
His flight was at 7 so I drove him back to the airport at 5:45. We talked for another 30 min. and said goodbye.
I talked to him the next day.
If you're reading this, K, it was great to finally meet and talk. Have fun in NYC. :)
I will be there Mon. and Tues., too, but won't be able to get together for lunch like you suggested.

| Thursday, May 21, 2009, 3:08:57 PM- Hello Y'all | To all who have PM'ed me: Thank you all so much for your well wishes. Things couldn't be better... well, except that for some reason, lizards and tiny, long-legged frogs can somehow get into our house. The lizards are albino gekos and they creep me out to NO END. Ughhh! I don't mind the frogs - they're sooo cute.
Have a great weekend! I know I will. ;-)
Update: Something someone just PM'ed me helped me figure out at least WHY the frogs and lizards have been coming into the house.
