I couldn't agree more. I have not been on Facebook for about two years. It is just full of crap (half of it negative). This place is quite amazing. I blogged a while ago about personal issues and was overwhelmed at the response from not only friends here but complete strangers. The advice helped no end. Keep up the good work.

I have a hard time even giving premium away. It has me stumped. However you know how much I love it here and it is worth every penny!

We agree as well. The FB world is dysfunctional,...Please support NN and buy a membership,...It's worth it!

DJSwing: "The FB world is dysfunctional" - so true. It feels to me that the world is more real here at NN. Who would have thought?

In the best Queens English, some of the afore mentioned sites can, and I quote "Blow it oot they Arse" ... and One browser can do likewise :D damn sure its related? :S

I'm with Juicy, I'm amazed how difficult it is to even give premium away. Of the few people that did accept it I think 3 have purchased it after the trial ran out. I too love it here and wish I had the answer to the question of how to get more people to support NN. As I have suggested before I think every new member should be given a free trial premium membership after a certain amount of time logged in here. I believe it's the only way they will see what the advantages of premium are.

I agree wholeheartedly I'm proud to be a premium member and I truly love my entire NN family.

I'm nothing like the FB user I once was and I don't have Insta or Whatsapp accounts either. I just use FB to keep in touch with a few friends around the World and play Scrabble.

The one thing I like about NN above all else is that it doesnt change too much . Minor changes occur from time to time but the site is easily the most user friendly of its kind . That is one reason I keep coming back .
I only use FB of the sites you mention . I cant even message on it now on my phone without i down load their app . Their friend feed lumps things together instead of listing in chronological order .
I tried twitter and it made no sense whatsoever . I cant even work out how to delete the account .

NN has a brilliantly straightforward format . It gives users more control over their postings and above all else , the only thing it wants to sell me is premium ( which of course makes sense ) .

I've been here a few years now, and use NN much more than FB. I'm proud to be premium and plan on being here for a long time.
Keep up the good work NN

I have the perfect solution to this phenomenon (selling out).
I do not subscribe to FB, Twitter or any other social media.

When I considered signing up, I took one look at the questions to be answered and thought "That's none of your %*^#@* business, that's my business and I will share it whom I wish. (Emphasis on I and I.)
So I departed the sign-up pages and I've never been back. Nor have I regretted my decision.

Places like NN are good enough for me, and better than the line-up of social sellout sites.
