It's Tuesday night and I'm getting twitchy for all the wrong reasons. I'll be up at 05.00, in hospital for 07.30 and hopefully on the slab by 09.30.

It's less than a week to go before my surgery and I'm bricking it!! I've been on the liver reduction diet for just over a week now and lost 14lbs so far. Only another 5 days of eating nothing but 8 yogurts a day and then it's time for me to be the main course on the carvery. I've posted a couple of pre-surgery photos today and I'll post more post surgery.
If anyone else is considering this sort of surgery feel free to mail me to chat about it, ask questions, etc.

Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 8:28:23 PM- *Bariatric Surgery* I have a date .... whoop, whoop!!

I have finally received the date of my gastric bypass operation, 9th August!! They would have to choose my ex-husband's birthday to slice and dice me ..... there's irony there somewhere!
It's a four to five hour operation and I'll be hospital overnight, then home to recover. Should be completely back to normal (whatever that is) in about six weeks.
In the meantime ...... steak and beer please!! Or at least until two weeks before the op, when I have to go on a liver reduction diet of eight yogurts a day, and as much water as I can drink!!

This will be happening any time in the next 14 weeks!!
I may lose my curves and go all saggy like a bloodhound but I'll live long enough to see my kids married and hopefully get some grandchildren too. Be happy for me and if there's anyone out there who wants to get me a tummy tuck and tit lift after the job, I'd be eternally grateful.
Will keep everyone who gives a shit posted as to when I get the exact date.

Went to the hospital for a routine appointment today and have been told by my cardiologist that I have to have a heart monitor implanted into my chest as I just go xxxxxxxxxxx for no apparent reason. It's an amazing little device that sits just under the skin so not too disruptive or uncomfortable. (Personally, I'm waiting for the brain implant. It'll be fun seeing them trying to implant that on something the size of a pea, lol. Kidding) Am waiting now for a date for the procedure. Hopefully this won't interfere with me having my gastric bypass. Will have to wait to see the bariatric surgeon and see what he says.
Ho, hum! It's never a dull day in my life lol.

Happy New Year to all of my dear NN friends. I'm back with a bang, you just can't keep me down, no matter how hard you try.
You will be pleased to know that I'm well and back to my old self. I'm in the process of attending regular clinics at the weight loss center to get my bariatric surgery. I've decided that I'm fed up with being so overweight, it's not doing my health any good, so I'm getting a gastric bypass this year. I'm at the stage of having one to one sessions with dietetics, psychology and the surgical team so I'm progressing in the queue quite nicely.
I just hope that I don't look like a bloodhound after

Yesterday I got thrown around the house and my neck nearly broken. I have to get away and soon. I'm not going to be on site much longer, so if you want to keep my pics, keep them now as I will be deleting them.
I've had great fun on this site and made many friends and I'm sorry to be going but I have to disappear for my own safety.
